Mayra Maldonado, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, attended The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston to earn her Master of Science in Nursing in 2023, becoming a certified family nurse practitioner. Mayra pursued medicine to fulfill her desire to provide care to vulnerable populations, saying, "I want to help them understand their disease process and how to manage and treat their symptoms by providing education that promotes healthy living." Mayra provides well care and treats patients for management and treatment of acute and chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and infections. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in October 2023.
